Purpose of This Chapter

The Land Division and Reconfiguration chapter establishes the requirements applicable to the division and reconfiguration of land and replaces existing SRC Chapter 63 (Subdivisions). The chapter covers applications for Partitions, Subdivisions (including phased subdivisions and subdivisions of manufactured dwelling parks), Replats, Final Plats, and Property Line Adjustments.

The Land Division and Reconfiguration chapter identifies the specific submittal requirements for applications along with the applicable approval criteria. This chapter works in conjunction with the Procedures Ordinance (SRC 300) and other chapters of the UDC which contain specific development standards.

  • Property Line Adjustments

2. Creates rules and applications for: *

  • Conservation Land Divisions
  • Phased Subdivisions

3. Adds requirements from State Law:

  • Manufactured Dwelling Park Rules
  • Replats
  • Property Line Adjustments
  • Expedited Land Divisions

4. Moves to other chapters:

  • Lot Standards
  • Infrastructure Standards
  • Performance Guarantees

5. Clarifies requirements for large lot Partitions *

6. Eliminates Property Line Verifications. *

7. Variance criteria made consistent with other land use decisions. *

8. Adds section on modification of approvals.
