Mixed-Use Overlay Zone
Purpose of This Chapter
The Mixed-Use Overlay Zone establishes the requirements applicable to the use and development of land within the Mixed-Use Overlay Zone. The chapter replaces existing SRC Chapter 143F (Mixed-Use Overlay Zone).
The Mixed-Use Overlay Zone allows uses beyond those allowed in the underlying zone and establishes development standards to encourage mixed-use development. This chapter works in conjunction with the underlying zone and other chapters of the UDC which contain additional development standards (e.g. Special Requirements – SRC 700; Streets and Right-of-Way Improvements – SRC 810; Site Access and Circulation – SRC 830; Off-Street Parking & Loading – SRC 835; Landscaping and Screening – SRC 840).
