Front Street Overlay Zone
Purpose of This Chapter
The Front Street Overlay Zone establishes the requirements applicable to the use and development of land within the Front Street Overlay Zone. The Front Street Overlay Zone is a proposed new chapter in the UDC that incorporates the existing design guidelines and standards applicable to the Front Street Core District identified in the existing CB (Central Business District) Zone.
The Front Street Overlay Zone establishes design guidelines and design standards applicable to development with the overlay. This chapter works in conjunction with the underlying zone and other chapters of the UDC which contain additional development standards (e.g. Special Requirements – SRC 700; Streets and Right-of-Way Improvements – SRC 810; Site Access and Circulation – SRC 830; Off-Street Parking & Loading – SRC 835; Landscaping and Screening – SRC 840).
